I am really glad I put up the Feedjit meter.
Over the last 24 hours, I've had hits from:
-- Cincinnati
-- Lebanon, TN
-- Germantown, TN
-- Oklahoma City
-- Terre Haute, IN
-- Akron, OH
-- and Valley City, OH.
No, I'm not going to stalk anyone who visited to find out who they are. In fact, I don't worry about it.
But...the interesting hit came from right here in Florence. Someone, in fact, who searched for MY NAME. (And NO, I know it wasn't me - I still show up as Chatham, Illinois even though I'm NOT in that town.)
That one, I'd like to know who they are. I find it interesting they came here via a google search, and left via my twitter link.
Hmmmm....maybe I WILL stalk that person and find out why they tracked me down...or wanted to.

Sometimes I think about tracking then visitors down just to go visit their blogs.
Valley City, Ohio is what comes up when I visit from my computer at work, in Cleveland, which is about 25 miles northeast of Valley City.
Akron, Ohio is me at home. Sometimes I will come up as Wadsworth, Ohio. That's closer to Rittman.
Cliff, that made sense. In fact I figured those two were you.
Also, bear in mind that some of the local TV stations are owned by companies based out of town. That being said, most of them have an internet connection that goes out of state, through company servers, and hits the website. Oklahoma City, for instance, is going to be just such an example; I can't verify the other cities.
Valid point, anon 9:24, BUT... this is the PERSONAL blog. This isn't my media blog.
Dude! you got a hit from BRAZIL... You are now WORLD WIDE pimpin'!
Well I was the Terre Haute, IN one. I may not have commented much I did pop in at times to read your blog. I am finally trying to get back to blogging. I really miss my online friends.
Michelle, I kinda figured you were Terre Haute.
Mikey, seriously?? Holy Brazilian rainforests!
It is always interesting to see where people come from...oddly, my actual town never shows up...it is a place about minutes from here but I think it is the location of my internet provider.
